Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games (GTA 6 developers), has unveiled its strategic vision for future game development, emphasizing the creation of new intellectual properties (IPs) over solely relying on established franchises.

While acknowledging the current success of these legacy IPs, Zelnick highlighted the inevitable decline in their long-term appeal. He compared this decline to the natural processes of decay and entropy, stating that even successful sequels eventually see a decrease in impact.
