Clash of Clans: Major Update Incoming March 2025

Clash of Clans is set for a massive update in March 2025, addressing long-standing player requests and removing features that have become outdated. This update marks one of the most significant changes in the game's history.

No More Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!

Prepare for a faster-paced battle experience! The March 2025 update eliminates troop, spell, and siege machine training times, allowing for back-to-back attacks without delay. Hero recovery time is also removed, ensuring your heroes are always ready for action. This change applies to players in Titan League and below. The Legend League will retain its eight-battle-per-day limit for now.

This significant change reflects Clash of Clans' ongoing effort to streamline gameplay by removing outdated mechanics. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, the elimination of training time further removes artificial barriers to gameplay.

Adjustments to Accompany the Changes:

With the removal of training times, Training Potions and Training Treats become obsolete. These items will be phased out, removed from in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining potions and treats in player inventories will be converted into Gems.

Introducing the New Match Anytime System!

To ensure a continuous battle experience, a new Match Anytime system is being introduced. When insufficient real bases are available, this system will allow players to attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases currently under Shield. These battles function identically to normal battles, awarding loot and trophies, but the defender incurs no losses. This system, already implemented in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, is now expanding to multiplayer battles.

Further Tweaks:

To balance the increased number of battles per session, the number of trophies awarded for victories is being adjusted. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players.
