Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Release Date Announced with Pre-Order Bonus

Author : Ethan May 13,2025

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is set to launch on July 24, 2025, across multiple platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Excitingly, Microsoft is bringing it to Game Pass day one for subscribers of the Ultimate tier, making it readily accessible to a broader audience.

For those eager to dive in early, pre-ordering the game will grant you the exclusive Night & White Pack. This pack includes two unique costume sets: Night Spectre and White Spectre, along with the Vermillion War Club axe and the Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade, enhancing your gameplay experience right from the start.

Developer Leenzee Games has announced that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be available in both a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition offers additional content that enriches your adventure, including four distinct costumes—each comprising five pieces—four specialized weapons, and one Skill Upgrade item on top of the base game.

Set in the dark and tumultuous late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a Soulslike action-RPG. You assume the role of a mysterious warrior afflicted by a horrific feather disease, navigating through an ancient empire on the brink of collapse. Your journey involves uncovering hidden secrets and confronting supernatural enemies, promising a deep and engaging narrative.

Our initial hands-on preview of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers earlier this year was promising. We noted, "I only caught a small glimpse at Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, but I already feel pretty good about its chances at being more than just another soulslike to add to the ridiculously overflowing pile. The movesets are intricate and interesting, the RPG mechanics seem deep and offer a lot of freedom (even if I can’t claim to understand some of them fully), and the boss fights gave me a serious run for my money that’s rare these days. All that’s already got me pretty excited to play more." This early feedback suggests a game that could stand out in the crowded genre of Soulslike titles.
