Tepes Ovidiu, an indie developer from Romania, has launched a new puzzle game. His earlier titles include Cessabit, a memory game, and Not Chess. Is This Yours? is his latest creation, where you manage a wildly disorganized lost and found desk.
Like his previous projects, Tepes Ovidiu handled nearly every aspect himself—artwork, animations, and code—all of which is remarkably impressive. His new game transforms an ordinary scenario into an unexpectedly engaging experience.
Is This Yours?
In the game, you run a chaotic lost and found counter. Flustered customers rush to you, hoping you can locate their misplaced belongings. Items range from burritos and earbuds to passports and even a teddy bear that appears to be experiencing deep emotional turmoil.
Each request feels like a tiny puzzle. Your task is to match the correct item based on vague, bizarre, or wildly inaccurate descriptions. Sometimes it’s just someone searching for their sunglasses—even if they’re broken. Other times, it’s something far stranger.
You steadily pair people with their lost items, creating a frenetic, oddly heartfelt, and hilariously absurd experience. Take a look at Is This Yours? below.
It’s an Avalanche of Forgotten Junk and Grumpy Customers --------------------------------------------------------In fast-paced mode, you start with just three hearts. The quicker you match an item, the higher your reputation rises. But as you advance, the pile of lost items grows, and customers grow increasingly impatient.
There’s also a Zen mode, letting you play at your own pace—no angry patrons, no lost hearts. It’s a serene twist on the same charming chaos.
The game features haptic feedback, achievements, and leaderboards via Game Centre. It’s a one-time purchase with no ads, no tracking, and no data collection. Grab it for $1.99 on the Google Play Store.
