World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!
World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for six months or more! Secure your Timbered Sky Snake mount for modern WoW and the adorable Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These rewards, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, are available until January 31, 2025, with redemption required before January 31, 2026.
Since 2018, Blizzard has provided bonus items for extended subscriptions, often themed around the lunar zodiac. Following the Auspicious Arborwyrm for 2024, the Timbered Sky Snake and Snakelet mark the latest additions. These items can be obtained by purchasing a six-month (or longer) subscription or individually from the in-game store ($25 for the mount, $10 for the Classic pet). A separate Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for modern WoW is also available for $10 on the Battle.net shop but isn't included in the subscription offer.
January 2025 Six-Month Subscription Offer:
- Timbered Sky Snake mount (World of Warcraft: Dragonflight)
- Timbered Air Snakelet pet (Classic WoW)
Existing subscribers will also receive these rewards. All qualifying Battle.net accounts will receive the items by January 31, 2025.
12-Month Subscription Bonus:
Twelve-month subscribers receive even more! In addition to the six-month rewards, they'll also get:
- Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts (modern WoW)
- Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet (Classic WoW)
This makes the 12-month option particularly attractive for mount collectors, and automatically includes the July six-month rewards.
With major content updates planned for both retail and Classic WoW in 2025, including potential player housing in retail and the continuation of Classic progression servers, now is an excellent time to secure your long-term subscription and claim these fantastic rewards!
