How To View Your 2024 Snap Recap In Snapchat

Snapchat's 2024 Snap Recap: A Year in Review

Snapchat's new 2024 Snap Recap feature offers a fun, visual retrospective of your year on the platform. Unlike data-heavy recaps from services like Spotify, Snap Recap presents a curated selection of your Snaps, one for each month. It's a more casual, less analytical look back at your 2024 memories. The recap seamlessly transitions into the Memories feature, allowing you to explore further into your past Snaps.

Accessing Your 2024 Snap Recap

Accessing your recap is straightforward. On the main Snapchat camera screen, swipe up to open Memories. You'll find your 2024 Snap Recap prominently displayed as a highlighted video.

Where to Find 2024 Snap Recap

Tap the recap (avoiding the share icon) to view your curated Snaps. The recap plays automatically, but you can tap the screen to navigate through it at your own pace. You can save, edit, share, or even add it to your Story. Privacy is maintained unless you actively choose to share it.

Why You Might Not See a Recap

If your 2024 Snap Recap isn't appearing, don't panic. Snapchat Support indicates a staggered rollout, so it may simply not be generated yet. The frequency of your Snap usage also plays a role; infrequent use might result in no recap being created. Unfortunately, requesting a recap isn't currently an option.
