Studio Bitmap Bureau's retro side-scrolling game, inspired by Terminator 2: Judgment Day, promises a fresh take on the iconic film. While drawing inspiration from the movie's plot, the developers guarantee original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring replayability. Key scenes from the original film, however, will remain faithfully recreated.
Players will assume the roles of the T-800, Sarah Connor, and a now-adult John Connor, each offering a unique gameplay experience. Confrontations with the T-1000 await those playing as the T-800 and Sarah Connor, while John Connor will lead the resistance.
The trailer showcases the classic Terminator 2 theme and iconic moments reinterpreted in stunning pixel art, delighting fans of the original film. Beyond the main campaign, several arcade modes will provide additional challenges.
The game launches September 5, 2025, on all current-generation consoles and PC.
