Author : Audrey Mar 14,2025

Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada's LinkedIn profile recently sparked speculation about his departure from Bandai Namco after 30 years. A post indicating he's "#OpenToWork" and seeking roles such as Executive Producer, Game Director, Business Development, Vice President, or Marketing in Tokyo fueled these rumors. The news, initially spotted by Genki_JPN on X, quickly spread among concerned fans.

However, Harada swiftly addressed the concerns on X, assuring fans that he isn't leaving Bandai Namco. He clarified that his LinkedIn update was simply a way to connect with more industry professionals and expand his network. He stated his desire to meet more people and broaden his horizons, explaining that the LinkedIn feature allows him to do so.

This news should ease the minds of Tekken fans. Harada's expanded network could lead to exciting new collaborations and further enrich the Tekken franchise. The recent successful crossover with Final Fantasy 16, featuring Clive Rosfield and other characters as playable content, demonstrates the potential for future collaborations.
