After two years of trying, streamer finished the impossible FromSoftware challenge

FromSoftware games are notorious for their brutal difficulty. Even prominent streamers like Kai Cenat have attested to the countless deaths endured while tackling titles like Elden Ring. This makes the accomplishments of players who voluntarily embrace additional challenges all the more remarkable.

Streamer Dinossindgeil has etched his name in gaming history by becoming the first person to complete the God Run 3 SL1 challenge. This grueling feat demands completing seven consecutive FromSoftware games without leveling up or sustaining a single hit. A testament to unwavering dedication, Dinossindgeil pursued this monumental undertaking for nearly two years. His emotional breakdown upon defeating Soul of Cinder in Dark Souls III, the final boss, perfectly encapsulates the magnitude of his achievement.

The God Run 3 SL1 is widely considered the most difficult challenge within the FromSoftware community. The rules are unforgiving: seven games, no leveling, zero damage taken. A single hit, regardless of progress, necessitates restarting the entire run from the beginning.

Dinossindgeil's journey was fraught with setbacks. In the summer of 2024, a frustrating bug in Dark Souls II—an arrow clipping through a wall—ended a run that had already conquered Elden Ring and Dark Souls I, forcing a complete restart.

FromSoftware's response to this incredible achievement will undoubtedly be eagerly anticipated. One thing is certain: Dinossindgeil's place in gaming history is firmly secured.
