Saber Interactive has reaffirmed that all its previously announced games are still in active development, despite the lack of updates on high-profile projects like the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) remake. Following the recent announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Saber's Chief Creative Officer, Tim Willits, took to social media to reassure fans that every project the studio has announced remains on track.
"Saber Interactive stands as one of the largest independent developers globally," Willits stated. "Our team is diligently working on a diverse range of games across various genres. Rest assured, everything we've talked about is still in development. We'll share updates on our upcoming games as soon as we have exciting news to reveal."

The KOTOR remake, in particular, has been a focal point of speculation and anticipation. Announced back in 2021, this long-awaited project has seen multiple developers take the helm, faced apparent development halts, and restarts. Despite four years passing without a release, Saber Interactive's CEO, Matthew Karch, confirmed in April 2024 that the project had moved with the company during its separation from Embracer Group and was still actively being developed.
"It's clear and it's obvious that we're working on this," Karch emphasized at the time. "It's been widely reported. What I can say is that the game is alive and well, and we're committed to surpassing consumer expectations."
Willits' recent statement, coming almost a year after Karch's, serves to reinforce this commitment. However, fans are still awaiting any new footage or details beyond the initial announcement trailer.
In addition to the KOTOR remake, Saber Interactive has a robust lineup of other games in the pipeline. Titles such as John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival are slated for a 2025 release, though specific dates have yet to be announced. The studio is also developing a new Turok game and an untitled project based on Avatar: The Last Airbender. With the addition of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to their roster, fans can look forward to more details on which chapters and enemy factions might be featured in this eagerly anticipated sequel.
