The annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrates a different region each year, coinciding with Pokémon Day. Previous tours have featured Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2024), introducing new shiny Pokémon and special variants.

The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Tour Pass will be available from February 24th, 10:00 AM to March 2nd, 6:00 PM local time. A free version is available to all players, with progression based on earning Tour Points through daily tasks, catching Pokémon, raids, and egg hatching. Milestones reward items like Candy and Stickers, culminating in a special Zorua encounter. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6:00 PM.

Pokémon GO Announces New Pass for Unova GO Tour

Alongside the free Tour Pass, a deluxe version will be available for $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 unlocked ranks) on the Pokémon GO webstore from February 24th, 10:00 AM to March 2nd, 6:00 PM. This offers all free and paid track rewards, a Victini encounter, and a new Lucky Trinket. The Lucky Trinket transforms a friend into a Lucky Friend, guaranteeing a Lucky Pokémon on the next trade, then resetting. Like the free pass, deluxe rewards (including the Trinket) expire March 9th at 6:00 PM.

The Unova Tour Pass further enhances the upcoming event, which includes the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, similar to Necrozma in last year's event. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via a ticketed Masterwork Research.
