PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Slashed to $99.99 for a Year, But Only for New or Expired Members

Sony's offering a PlayStation Plus discount in the US and select European countries! Expired or new members can snag a significant price reduction until February 24th. The catch? Both Extra and Premium tiers cost the same: $99.99 for a year.

Given Premium includes everything in Extra, plus classic games, trials, and cloud streaming, Premium is the better value. However, remember to disable auto-renewal to avoid a higher price after the discount ends. Existing subscribers are unfortunately excluded, as are those whose subscriptions expire after February 24th.

Pricing:

PS Plus Premium: $99.99 (normally $159.99, 37% off)
PS Plus Extra: $99.99 (normally $134.99, 25% off)

This promotion excludes the UK and some other regions, and the Essential tier is also unavailable. While Essential members can upgrade at a prorated rate, there's no standalone discount for Essential's annual plan.

February's PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions include Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Top Spin 2K25, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 1. Premium members also gain access to classic titles like Patapon 3 and Dropship: United Peace Force.

PlayStation Plus Premium is down to $99.99 for 12-months until February 24.
