Onimusha: Way of the Sword has the best State of Play trailer

The standout star of the recent State of Play presentation was undoubtedly the new Onimusha installment. Onimusha: Way of the Sword introduced its protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, a character model strikingly reminiscent of legendary Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. The trailer showcases Musashi's fierce battles against demons emerging from hell into Kyoto, punctuated by moments of humorous evasion.

The story reveals Musashi's transformation, through faith, into the wielder of the Oni Gauntlet. He must combat the monstrous inhabitants of the mortal realm, absorbing their souls to replenish his health and unleash devastating special abilities.

A remastered trailer for Onimusha 2 was also revealed, providing a stark visual comparison that underscores the remarkable advancements in graphics over the years.
