Nintendo's highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been unveiled, though full details remain under wraps until a dedicated Nintendo Direct presentation. A brief teaser trailer confirmed the new console's existence, showcasing its design and redesigned Joy-Cons, alongside a sneak peek at a new Mario Kart title.

The official announcement, made on Nintendo's website, confirmed the Nintendo Direct showcasing the Switch 2 will air on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Specific broadcast times will be released later via the website and social media.
