Which Nintendo Franchise Deserves a LEGO Set the Most in 2025?

Author : Julian Mar 21,2025

The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, like last year's interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda set. However, the possibilities extend far beyond Mario and Animal Crossing. As a LEGO and Nintendo fan, I'm eager to see more iconic franchises brought to life in brick form.

With a variety of Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing sets already available, many other beloved Nintendo franchises remain untapped. This begs the question: which Nintendo universe deserves the LEGO treatment next?

The upcoming Switch 2 and continued investment in Nintendo movies and games (including the new Mario movie and a potential live-action Zelda film) suggest more LEGO Nintendo sets are on the horizon. What franchises do you envision becoming reality in 2025 and beyond? Share your predictions in the comments!

Personally, I believe a Metroid LEGO line would be phenomenal. With Metroid Prime 4 on the way, it's the perfect time for some incredible builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, beyond the existing MEGA sets, though I understand the licensing complexities involved.
