Unlocking Mounts in Rune Slayer: A Comprehensive Guide
Rune Slayer offers an engaging MMORPG experience within Roblox, complete with quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing. However, acquiring a mount isn't explicitly explained in-game. This guide will walk you through the process.
Pre-Mount Requirements:
Before you can ride, you'll need two things:
- Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of questing, job completion, and mob slaying. Progressing with friends can speed this up.
- Obtain a Tamed Pet: A quest will guide you through pet taming. The process involves:
- Finding a suitable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
- Attacking it once.
- Presenting the animal with its preferred food (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
- Watching for a heart above its head. A fully grown heart signifies successful taming; a black heart indicates failure. Try again with a different animal.
Initiating the Mount Quest:
Once you've met the prerequisites, head to Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire. He'll offer the "Jimmy's Delivery" quest, requiring you to deliver a package to the Ashenshire Stable Master.
The Journey to Ashenshire:
Travel north from Wayshire, through Greatwood Forest, to Ashenshire (look for large houses on tall trees). Climb the rope you encounter, and speak to Madonna the Stable Master (the first NPC you see upon reaching the top). Select “I have a package for you.”
Returning to Wayshire and Receiving Your Reward:
Return to Wayshire and speak to Jimmy. He'll reward you with a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory; it's automatically equipped.
Mounting Your Pet:
Summon your pet (hold "T"), approach it, and select "Mount" (press "E"). Enjoy your high-speed travel! This works for all mountable pets.
