Marvel's Moon Knight: Future Appearances Confirmed, But No Season 2
While a second season of Moon Knight on Disney+ is off the table, Marvel has confirmed that Oscar Isaac's character will return to the MCU in a different capacity. This news comes from Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum, who spoke with ComicBook.
The shift away from a Season 2 stems from a change in strategy for Marvel Television. Previously, the focus was on establishing characters through individual series before integrating them into larger MCU projects (like Ms. Marvel leading to The Marvels). Now, the approach is shifting towards a more traditional annual television format.
Winderbaum clarified that while a Moon Knight Season 2 isn't in the works, future appearances are planned: "I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and I think Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future…moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television. I would love to see a Moon Knight Season 2, but there are plans for Moon Knight down the road.”
Isaac's voice work as Moon Knight in Marvel's What If...? demonstrates his continued involvement with the character. However, details regarding his next live-action appearance remain undisclosed.

Upcoming MCU Disney+ shows include Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December). While projects like Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc. are currently paused, Winderbaum hinted at the possibility of a Defenders reunion, bringing together Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist.
