The open beta offers three key experiences: Character Creation, the Story Trial, and the Doshaguma Hunt. Character customization in the beta mirrors the full game, allowing you to design your hunter and Palico, with all customizations transferring to the final release. Note that story progress won't carry over, so feel free to explore without worry. The Story Trial introduces you to the game's opening sequence, featuring a tutorial and a battle against the early-game monster, Chatacabra. For those seeking a tougher challenge, the Doshaguma Hunt pits you against the alpha Doshaguma, a formidable beast roaming the Windward Plains. This quest supports multiplayer, so you can team up with friends or join forces with NPC support hunters.
As a token of appreciation for participating, all Open Beta players will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a Palico-shaped pendant for your weapons and Seikret, along with an item pack containing Mega Potions, Rations, and more. These bonuses will be available as downloadable content when the full game launches on February 28, 2025.
