The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now is an exciting online paid event scheduled to run from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. To participate, players need to purchase an event ticket available in the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks a special feature called uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, exclusively featuring the elder dragon Chameleos. During the event, there's no waiting between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, allowing for continuous gameplay. Participants also receive bonus Chameleos-themed layered gear, adding a unique touch to their hunter's appearance.
The Spring Hunt event includes two Event Exchange Hubs. The first, the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub, opens from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. Players can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons between May 19th and May 25th. These tokens can then be traded at the hubs for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?
Chameleos, the elusive elder dragon known for its stealthy abilities and fog-inducing breath, becomes the focal point of this update. Starting May 24th, 2025, players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. Players ranked 100 or above can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. To effectively combat Chameleos, players should equip weapons and gear that exploit its vulnerabilities to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements.
Defeating Chameleos allows players to forge the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the beneficial Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects by half and enhances the ability to poison targets. Additionally, Chameleos materials can be used to craft a variety of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. To prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025, players can download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and start gearing up.
