Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Data on Hero Popularity and Win Rates
NetEase has released comprehensive statistics on Marvel Rivals character selection and win rates across all game modes. This data provides a fascinating snapshot of player preferences before the launch of Season 1.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console platforms. However, Mantis unexpectedly claims the top spot for win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay and Competitive modes (56% and 55% respectively). Other high-performing characters include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The "Hero Hot List" also highlights platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger dominates console competitive matches, while Luna Snow leads on PC.
Marvel Rivals Most Picked Heroes:
- Jeff the Land Shark – Quickplay (PC & Console)
- Cloak & Dagger – Competitive (Console)
- Luna Snow – Competitive (PC)
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with incredibly low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), reflecting player dissatisfaction with her current performance. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her standing considerably.
The upcoming Season 1, launching January 10th, will introduce the Fantastic Four, promising to shake up the meta and potentially drastically change these statistics. The arrival of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season, is sure to impact hero selection and win rates.
