Marvel Rivals Adding Skin Based on Spider-Man 2 Game

Marvel Rivals: New Spider-Man 2 Skin Incoming!

Get ready, Marvel Rivals fans! A brand-new skin based on the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is swinging into the game on January 30th, coinciding with the PC release of the acclaimed PlayStation title. This exciting addition celebrates the game's PC debut. Alongside this, new Mantis and Doctor Strange skins will arrive on January 17th.

The Advanced Suit 2.0, with its classic red and blue design and prominent white spider emblem, is a highly anticipated addition. Spider-Man, a five-star Duelist in Marvel Rivals, is known for his high damage output and challenging gameplay. His unique web-zip and web-swing abilities allow for swift maneuvers in combat, making him a formidable character. Recent in-game quests have even highlighted Spider-Man, rewarding players for using him.

NetEase Games' surprise announcement on Twitter generated significant buzz. The voice actor, Yuri Lowenthal, lends his talents to Spider-Man in both Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Marvel Rivals, adding another layer of excitement. While many players are thrilled, some are debating between this new skin and a rumored Lunar New Year Spider-Man skin.

Pricing remains a concern for some players. While many legendary skins cost 2,200 Units, MCU skins like Spider-Man and Iron Man are priced higher at 2,600 Units. Players looking to acquire Units quickly can complete the Heroic Journey achievements to earn up to 1,500 Units and skins for Storm and Star-Lord. These Units, combined with Lattice, can be used to purchase any skin in the shop. The future of Marvel Rivals' cosmetic offerings is looking bright, leaving fans eager for what NetEase Games unveils next.
