KEMCO

KEMCO's newest tactical RPG, Eldgear, plunges players into a world on the cusp of magical revolution. Explore Argenia, a land brimming with nations vying for control of newly discovered, powerful ancient technology. Following a devastating war, a fragile peace is maintained by Eldia, a global task force dedicated to controlling access to these potent artifacts.

The Eldgear Story:

Argenia's transition from medieval times to a magical age fuels intense conflict between its numerous nations. The discovery of ancient ruins containing advanced magical technology ignites a desperate scramble for power. While the immediate war has ended, the threat of renewed conflict looms large. Eldia, a central organization in the game's narrative, works to prevent another catastrophic war by researching and controlling access to these dangerous ruins.

Gameplay:

Eldgear features a user-friendly turn-based battle system offering strategic depth. The core mechanics, however, introduce intriguing complexity:

  • EMA (Embedding Abilities): Equip three abilities per unit, usable at any time. Combine stat boosts with abilities like Stealth for tactical advantages or protective measures.
  • EXA (Expanding Abilities): Unleash devastating special moves by maximizing your Tension gauge during battles.
  • GEAR Machines: Mysterious and powerful machines, some acting as guardians, others as formidable foes.

Availability and Controls:

Eldgear is available now on the Google Play Store for $7.99, supporting English and Japanese languages. Currently, the game lacks controller support, relying on touchscreen controls. Check out our other news on Pocket Necromancer for more gaming updates.
