Pokemon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat as Ralts takes the spotlight in January's Community Day Classic. Mark your calendars for January 25, when from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, Ralts will be appearing more frequently in the wild, offering trainers a golden opportunity to catch this beloved Psychic-type Pokemon from Generation 3. This event not only brings Ralts back into the limelight but also increases the chances of encountering its shiny variant.

Community Day is a cherished event within the Pokemon GO community, offering players a chance to engage with the game in unique ways. Since its inception, Community Day Classic has been a fan-favorite, providing a second chance to experience previous Community Days. In 2024, Porygon, Bagon, Cyndaquil, and Beldum were the stars of their respective months. Now, in 2025, Ralts is set to enchant players once more.

During the event, evolving Kirlia, Ralts' evolution, will grant trainers a Gardevoir or Gallade equipped with the Charged Attack Synchronoise. This powerful move delivers 80 damage in raids, trainer battles, and gyms, making it a valuable addition to any Pokemon arsenal. The evolution window extends up to five hours post-event, giving players ample time to evolve their Kirlia.

In addition to the evolution bonus, several other perks will enhance the Community Day Classic experience. Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours, and the distance required to hatch eggs in incubators will be reduced to a quarter of the normal distance. Plus, taking snapshots during the event will unlock a surprise for players.

For a small fee of $2, trainers can dive into Special Research, offering rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three encounters with Ralts featuring themed backgrounds from the current season. Timed Research will provide four Sinnoh Stones and an encounter with Ralts, while the new Community Day Continued Timed Research will reward players with Ralts encounters sporting special backgrounds. Field Research will also be available, rewarding Stardust and Great Balls.

The event introduces new Showcases and offers, including an Ultra Community Day Box for $4.99 available at the Pokemon GO Web Store, and bundles priced at 1350 and 480 PokeCoins in the in-game store.

Ralts made its Pokemon GO debut in 2017 alongside the Hoenn region and had its first Community Day in August 2019. The January 2025 Community Day Classic is part of a series of exciting activities planned for the month, including the return of Shadow Ho-Oh on an upcoming Shadow Day and the anticipated Lunar New Year event, which has been a staple since 2018.
