Insomniac Games almost gave us Resistance 4. While a pitch was made and the concept was strong, according to outgoing president Ted Price, timing and market opportunities ultimately prevented the game from getting the green light. In a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games, Price revealed this as his favorite unmade game, expressing the team's passion for continuing the series' compelling alternate history storyline involving the Chimera. The Resistance series, a trio of first-person shooters set in a 1951 UK invaded by aliens, concluded its PlayStation 3 run before Insomniac shifted focus to titles like Marvel's Spider-Man and newer Ratchet & Clank installments. Price's recent retirement announcement, after over three decades at Insomniac, has seen Chad Dezern, Ryan Schneider, and Jen Huang named as his successors as Co-Studio Heads. Insomniac's latest release, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, recently launched on PC, with Marvel's Wolverine next in line.
