While the wait for gaming's most anticipated title continues, Take-Two Interactive's recent financial presentation confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is still slated for a Fall 2025 release. This confirmation comes alongside the announcement of Borderlands 4 also launching this year, though specific release dates for both remain undisclosed.

Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, emphasized Rockstar Games' meticulous development approach, noting that additional time may be needed, mirroring the development cycles of previous behemoths like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. While Zelnick stated that precise release dates will be revealed at the company's discretion, the Fall 2025 window remains the current target, despite circulating delay rumors pushing the release into 2026.
