The second chapter of the Free Fire and Naruto Shippuden collaboration, titled Ninja War, launches on July 30th and runs through August 31st. It introduces new maps, skills, and gameplay modes.
Everything New in Free Fire x Naruto Shippuden Chapter 2: Ninja War
An updated Battle Royale mode features a significantly altered version of the Hidden Leaf Village on Bermuda. A massive Planetary Devastation Sphere now floats overhead, dropping fragments into a crater that signifies the village's destruction.
The landscape around Naruto’s Divine Tree adds a dark, atmospheric layer to the map. When the Red Moon rises, a special Tsukuyomi zone activates, creating a warped reality where the Akatsuki holds sway. This area is also where you can find and collect Akatsuki Keepsakes.
Each zone affected by the Tsukuyomi contains one of these keepsakes. Gathering all six unlocks potent abilities themed after major antagonists from the series. Pain’s ability pulls enemies inward, Konan’s sets paper bomb traps, and Deidara’s sends a clay bird skyward for aerial detonations. Itachi summons the black flames of Amaterasu, Kisame attacks with damaging sharks, and Hidan creates a circle that reflects damage and can revive the user.
Eight new jutsu are also available on the battlefield. The Sharingan allows you to copy an opponent's active skill, Izanagi Revive grants a second life with rapid health regeneration, and the Flying Raijin Jutsu lets you instantly teleport to a pre-marked location like Minato.
Other techniques include the Katsuyu Summoning for healing, Gaara’s Sand Shield for extra defense, and a synchronized Paper Emissary Jutsu that explodes near opponents. The Detonating Clay Bird summons a controllable avian explosive, while Shadow Stitching completely immobilizes enemies.
