Epic Games has officially unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, titled "Wanted." Mark your calendars for February 21, as the new season kicks off with a bang. A standout feature of this season is a collaboration with the iconic fighting franchise, Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero will make a chilling entrance into the Battle Pass, perfectly complementing the season's heist theme with his icy skins.

This exciting crossover coincides with the promotion of the much-anticipated film, Mortal Kombat 2, featuring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana. Fans can grab these new skins using Fortnite's premium currency, V-Bucks, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, maintaining the usual pricing structure.

Returning items confirmed for the season include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret, although other weapons remain under wraps. Reflecting on the previous heist-themed season (Chapter 4 Season 4), players are buzzing with speculation about potential comebacks like the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, Tommy Gun, and the Grappler. However, these are currently just rumors.

One of the most anticipated features this season is Smart Building, which intelligently predicts the structure you need based on your aim direction, revolutionizing the way you construct in the game.

The heist theme also introduces a revamped gameplay mechanic, shifting from keycards to vault breaches. Players will now use Meltanite, Fortnite's version of thermite, to break into vaults and secure their rewards, adding a new layer of strategy and excitement to the gameplay.
