Epic Games Store Lands on Mobile with 20 New Games and a Free Game Program

Epic Games' mobile store launch brings popular titles and exclusive rewards! The Epic Games Store is now available on Android worldwide, offering a selection of free games and in-game rewards.

Featured Mobile Games:

Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe headline the launch. Fall Guys is now mobile-playable and free to download. Downloading the Epic Games Store app and participating games unlocks exclusive cosmetics: a Fortnite outfit (including back bling, pickaxe, and wrap), a new Fall Guys bean costume, a Fall Guys-themed Fortnite pickaxe, and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These rewards are exclusive to the mobile platform.

Beyond the Big Three:

The mobile Epic Games Store features almost 20 third-party titles, expanding gaming options. The Free Games program has also launched, with Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee available for free on Android and iOS until February 20th. Other Playdigious titles, Shapez and Evoland 2, are also available, with Cultist Simulator coming soon. Bloons TD 6 is also on the horizon. Epic plans to expand its free game offerings to a weekly schedule later this year.

Epic's initiative faces challenges from Apple and Google's restrictions on third-party app stores, but it aims to enhance gaming accessibility. What are your thoughts? Share your comments below.
