Netflix is developing a live-action Dungeons & Dragons series based on the Forgotten Realms setting, according to Deadline. The project, one of Netflix's largest fantasy investments, is spearheaded by Shawn Levy (director of Deadpool and Wolverine), writer-showrunner Drew Crevello (WeCrashed), and Hasbro. The series, which reportedly has a completed pilot script, has the potential to launch a larger D&D universe on the platform. While Netflix and Hasbro remain tight-lipped, the report suggests successful negotiations concluded the deal.
