Dune: Awakening is accelerating towards its highly anticipated launch with a scheduled large-scale beta weekend. On April 25, Funcom announced via their official website that they're dedicating a weekend to a global beta test of Dune: Awakening. Alongside this announcement, they unveiled a captivating new trailer that showcases some of the game's cinematic cutscenes and narrative elements.
The beta test is set to welcome a massive influx of new players and, unlike previous closed betas, will not be bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This freedom allows participants to share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online. As stated in the announcement, "With access to the first 20 hours of the game and most of Act 1 of the story, you will get a taste of both spice and story."
