Don't Worry, A Minecraft Movie Is Getting Its Own Popcorn Bucket Too

Author : Hunter Mar 17,2025

Remember those themed popcorn buckets that were all the rage? Get ready for another one! The upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the concession novelty bandwagon with its own unique offerings, available during the film's theatrical run.

According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X (formerly Twitter), shown below, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box popcorn bucket and a chicken jockey drink cup. These items appear to be exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the U.S., but we'll have to wait and see what other theaters have in store for Minecraft fans.

These Minecraft-themed collectibles are the latest in a trend that started with 2019's Rise of Skywalker R2-D2 popcorn bucket. The viral success of that bucket sparked a new theatrical tradition—fun, albeit somewhat overdone and pricey. But hey, if it keeps people going to the movies, I'm all for it!

They must rely on a local named Steve (Jack Black) to navigate this new reality. Starring alongside Black are Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, Jennifer Coolidge, and Sebastian Hansen. The film hits theaters April 4, 2025.
