Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the cyberpunk platformer Replaced, developed by Sad Cat Studios. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game has faced multiple postponements, with the latest announcement pushing its arrival to 2026. This follows a previous delay announcement in 2025, where Sad Cat cited the game's unique development challenges. Despite the setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a high-quality product, acknowledging the anticipation surrounding the title. Replaced, first unveiled at Microsoft's E3 2021 presentation, has generated considerable excitement, with Sad Cat occasionally releasing updates, including combat footage and a mini-game showcase this past summer. The developers have yet to officially comment on this latest delay.
