From April 25th to May 5th, CrazyGames, in collaboration with Photon, invites indie developers worldwide to join its 10-day global game development marathon: the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025.
By partnering with Photon, the leading multiplayer service provider, this jam focuses specifically on creating innovative web-based multiplayer games. Participants can compete for a share of €10,000 in cash prizes and premium Photon licenses, including:
- 500 CCU with Circle Starter for one year (worth €7,500)
- 500 CCU for one year (worth €1,500)
- 100 CCU for one year (worth €100)
The event's only strict rules are that games must be developed and submitted during the jam period and adhere to PEGI 12 rating standards. Beyond that, developers are free to unleash their creativity!

Launched in 2014, CrazyGames has become the most popular free online gaming platform. Using HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGL technologies, it enables smooth browser-based gameplay across thousands of titles. Alongside Photon, CrazyGames will provide support during the event and offer winning games the opportunity to be published on its platform.
Additionally, a pre-jam livestream will be held on YouTube and LinkedIn on April 24th at 4 pm CEST, offering insights into two new WebGL platforms: Fusion and Quantum. Regarding these platforms, Photon Engine's Head of Growth, Mark Val, stated: "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples make it easy to create high-performance multiplayer games. We believe a WebGL game will rank among the world's top 20 most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a great opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."
Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to game developers of all experience levels. For more details and to register, visit the official jam page.
