Adventure Time Returns With New Sequel Comic in April 2025

Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series launching in April 2025! This collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products will continue the beloved adventures of Finn and Jake in the Land of Ooo.

The first story arc, "Best of Buds," is written by Nick Winn and features interior art by Winn and Derek Ballard. The series picks up after the animated show's finale, promising new misadventures and familiar charm.

Winn expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting the show's unique blend of humor and emotional depth. Series editor Megan Brown echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the comic's commitment to friendship, heart, and exciting new challenges for Finn and Jake. She also noted that "Best of Buds" serves as an ideal entry point for newcomers and a nostalgic return for longtime fans.
