Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

The curtain is falling on free updates for Dead Cells Mobile, but not before a final, explosive act! Since 2018, Dead Cells has consistently delivered thrilling new content, and now, with the release of the "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" updates on Android, that incredible run is concluding. While future updates are off the table, the game remains playable, and these final additions pack a seriously cursed punch.

What's in the Final Updates?

These final updates introduce four fearsome new weapons: the colossal Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword (which inflicts massive critical damage on low-health enemies, but curses you if you don't finish them off). The Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact—with the same cursed side effect if it hits anything. Balancing this risk is the new Indulgence skill, unleashing a powerful beam of light that can purge some of your accumulated curses.

Beyond the weapons, players can explore new game modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, and choose from 40 brand-new character heads, easily swapped thanks to a helpful new NPC.

New Mutations and Enemies to Conquer

The updates also introduce a trio of perilous new mutations: Cursed Flask (allowing health flask use without consuming a charge), Damned Vigor (preventing death briefly to secure a kill), and Demonic Strength (boosting damage while cursed).

Facing these mutations are equally challenging new enemies. The Sore Loser curses you upon death and clings to you relentlessly. The Curser unleashes guided cursed skulls and attacks with slashing claws at close range. And finally, the terrifying Doom Bringer can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.

Don't miss out! Download Dead Cells from the Google Play Store and experience these final, thrilling updates before they're gone.
