Paradox Focusing On Bug Fixing, Stability, and Performance

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been pushed back again, setting a new release window for October 2025. The game's official Twitter (X) account announced this delay on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann discussed the current state of the game's development. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been sharing development insights through Dev Diaries over recent months, covering aspects like characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries will be paused to allow developers to concentrate on enhancing the game's quality.

First Revealed in 2019

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Delayed to End of 2025, Citing Stability & Performance as Reasons

Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially set for a March 2020 launch. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay in October 2019, shifting to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further to 2021.

During this period, several key team members departed the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, subsequently moved to the first half of 2025, and now set for the end of 2025.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is slated for release in October 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay informed with the latest updates by checking out our dedicated article below!
