This confirmation comes via a release date trailer spotted on GameSpot's YouTube channel and the PlayStation Store, showcasing the game's enhanced visuals.

While Konami hasn't yet officially shared the trailer on their social media, the news brings much-needed reassurance after a near two-year wait. Initially slated for a 2024 release following its May 2023 PlayStation Showcase announcement, subsequent trailers at the Xbox Games Showcase and Tokyo Game Show focused on gameplay.

According to Metal Gear X (formerly Twitter), the remake stays true to the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, preserving gameplay and original voice acting – hence the "Delta" designation.
