Silent Hill 2 Remake's Year-Long PlayStation Exclusivity
Experience Enhanced DualSense Features on PS5
The "Silent Hill 2 - Immersion Trailer" on the PlayStation YouTube channel revealed that the Silent Hill 2 remake will enjoy a one-year PS5 exclusivity period. While launching on PS5 and PC on October 8th, 2024, Sony explicitly stated the game won't be available on other platforms until October 8th, 2025.This suggests a potential release on Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch, among others, after the exclusivity period ends. A PS6 release within this timeframe is unlikely.
PC gamers can currently pre-order on Steam. Further PC releases via platforms like Epic Games Store and GOG are also possible in the future, but remain unconfirmed.
