Season 1 Event Missions of Marvel Rivals Thrill Fans

Marvel Rivals players are buzzing with excitement over the Midnight Features event quests introduced in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. NetEase Games has much to celebrate, with Marvel Rivals recently earning a DICE award nomination and being voted the top new game in PlayStation's Players' Choice for December 2024. The launch of the new season also saw the game break its concurrent player record on Steam, indicating its growing popularity.

As Season 1 unfolds, NetEase Games is keeping the community engaged by outlining future plans. In a recent interview, developers revealed their intention to introduce a new playable hero every month and a half. While Season 1 will feature the entire Fantastic Four within three months, subsequent seasons are expected to have less content. However, this hasn't dampened fans' enthusiasm for the steady stream of new characters.

On social media platforms like Reddit, players such as Useful_You_8045 have voiced their appreciation for the versatility of the Midnight Features event quests. These quests can be completed across various game modes, including Quick Play, Competitive, and matches against AI. This flexibility has been a relief for many players, allowing them to experiment with new heroes in a low-stakes environment. Additionally, the rewards for Season 1, including a Gallery Card featuring a first look at Blade, have been well-received.

Marvel Rivals’ Midnight Features Event Quests Are a Hit With Fans

Fans have also praised NetEase Games for enhancing the visual appeal of the event quests. When accessing the Events tab, players encounter a Midnight Features newspaper with animated images and headlines that introduce the new quests. Although not all quests are currently available, they are expected to fully unlock on January 17. Completing all the event quests will reward players with a free Thor skin, adding to the excitement.

The improvements in Season 1 have been well-noted by the community. NetEase Games has upped the ante by offering two free skins in the battle pass instead of one, introducing new maps and a game mode, and making balance changes to maintain fairness among the game's extensive character roster. With such attention to detail and responsiveness to player feedback, the future looks bright for Marvel Rivals, leaving fans optimistic and eager for what's to come.
