Summoners War 2025 Championship Kicks Off in Paris

Summoners War has returned to the global esports scene with its ninth annual World Arena Championship, and this year's competition promises to be the most extensive one yet. With expanded regional tournaments, international qualifiers, and a high-stakes final in Paris, the SWC2025 season has officially commenced.

Registration for SWC2025 is currently open via the Summoners War: Sky Arena event page and will remain available until June 30th at midnight PT. Top performers from World Arena Seasons 32 and 33 will be chosen to compete in the preliminary rounds across three major regions: Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.

The Asia-Pacific region will be divided into four competitive sub-regions: Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Other Asian areas. Each sub-region will send eight players to the initial phase of the competition. The preliminaries, scheduled from late July through August, will use double elimination brackets with best-of-five matches to decide which players advance to the Regional Cups.

These regional tournaments will transition to offline events, starting with Europe's closed-door competition on September 20th. The Americas Cup will follow in Sao Paulo on October 11th, with the Asia-Pacific Cup happening in Busan on October 18th. Each of these live events will send three finalists to the World Finals.

For players outside the standard competition brackets, there remains an opportunity to reach the global stage. Open Qualifier events in France and Hangzhou will provide three additional competitors with direct paths to the Finals—one from Paris and two from China.

The season will culminate on November 1st in Paris, where twelve top Sky Arena summoners will compete in a single-elimination bracket to determine the SWC2025 World Champion.
