The Pokémon Company's new subsidiary, Pokémon Works, will assume responsibility for the development and future updates of Pokémon Sleep. This marks a shift from the original developer, Select Button.

The announcement stated that development and operation were previously shared between Select Button and The Pokémon Company, but will now gradually transfer to Pokémon Works. Their shared location in Tokyo with ILCA, the studio behind Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, hints at a strong connection within the Pokémon development ecosystem.
