Kicking off the second year of EA Sports UFC 5, the January 9 update introduces Azamat Murzakanov to the Light Heavyweight division. The undefeated Russian fighter comes with a formidable power punch rating of 97, 95 accuracy, and 94 ground striking. While Murzakanov is the sole new fighter in this update, EA Vancouver has also teased the addition of three new alter egos, though specifics remain under wraps.

Beyond the new fighter and alter egos, the update includes minor bug fixes and a gameplay tweak. The stamina cost of the muscle modifier has been adjusted from x3.125 to 2.5.
