Do Pity Points Transfer in Girls

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does it Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. Let's clarify.

Does Pity Carry Over?

Yes, your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the subsequent limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid banners ran concurrently. Pity progress accumulated on either banner, regardless of which you used. Reaching the pity threshold on one allowed a guaranteed high-rarity character pull on the other. This carryover applies to all future limited banners, confirmed by Chinese server players.

Important Note: Pity does not transfer between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to approach pity and then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed pull.

Soft and Hard Pity

While the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, soft pity begins at 58. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one increase incrementally with each subsequent pull until the guaranteed SSR at pull 80.

In summary, your pity progress carries over between consecutive limited-time banners in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, streamlining your chances of acquiring desired characters. However, remember that this does not extend to standard banners.
