Jurassic World Dominion incorporates a previously unused scene from Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novel, screenwriter David Koepp has confirmed. In an interview with Variety, Koepp, who penned the screenplay for the 1993 film and returned for Dominion, explained that revisiting Crichton's work provided inspiration for the sequel, lacking its own source material. He revealed the inclusion of a sequence "always wanted in the original movie, but [they] didn't have room for."
While Koepp remains tight-lipped about the specific scene, fan speculation is rife. Several scenes from the novel are considered strong contenders.
Warning! Spoilers for the original Jurassic Park novel and potentially Jurassic World Dominion may follow.
