Jupiter Expansion: Stellar Mercenaries' Largest Update Released

Author : Sebastian Apr 21,2025

Stellar Mercenaries has just launched its most expansive update to date with The Jupiter Expansion, nearly doubling the game's content. This thrilling update introduces over 50 new missions spread across five distinct worlds, six new weapons, and an array of ships, ensuring players have plenty of fresh content to explore. With the introduction of the Jovian Empire and the Pirate Council, two new factions vying for control around Jupiter and its moons, the stakes have never been higher.

Players can dive into a variety of mission types, from escort operations and piracy to train defense and hyperspace hunts, each offering unique challenges and rewards. The expansion also adds six new ships to the roster: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Each ship comes with its own set of abilities and configurations, allowing for diverse playstyles and strategic fleet customization.

The combat system receives a significant boost with the introduction of six new weapons: the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam. Defensive capabilities are enhanced with Tier 4 shields and armours, while new special abilities and mods like Drones, Point Defense, Critical Strike, and Missile Fire Rate offer players more strategic options than ever before.

Enemy encounters become more thrilling with the addition of Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk-class mercenaries, formidable foes that adapt and evolve alongside the player. The update also introduces dynamic environmental hazards such as asteroid fields, elite enemy ambushes, and the Pacifier, a new deep space threat that adds an extra layer of challenge to your missions.

For those seeking more variety, the new side mission system keeps the gameplay unpredictable and engaging. To enhance the immersive experience, 14 new music tracks have been added, providing a rich sci-fi atmosphere. Additionally, the Hangar Manager now offers expanded inventory and loadout slots, allowing for more efficient arsenal management.

Prepare for intense dogfights over Ganymede, Europa, Io, and Jupiter itself by downloading Stellar Mercenaries now. The game is free-to-play with in-app purchases, and you can visit the official website for more information and to stay updated on all the latest developments.
