Autumn arrives, bringing with it the chilling thrill of Monster Hunter Now's Season 3: Curse of the Wandering Flames! Launching September 12th, 2024, at 12 AM (UTC), this update introduces formidable new foes.
Season 3's additions include the fearsome Magnamalo, Rajang, and Aknosom, posing significant challenges for even veteran hunters. Previously unlocked via urgent quests, these monsters will now roam freely in the wild. Rajang, in particular, might appear during Hunt-a-thons, though relying on the Monster Tracker for his location is ill-advised – sharp instincts and a bit of luck will be your best allies.
A powerful new Heavy Bowgun joins the arsenal, boasting two distinct Special Skills. Depending on your chosen Bowgun, unleash devastating Wyvernheart shots or pinpoint accuracy with a Wyvernsnipe.
A highly anticipated feature finally arrives: cooking! Craft delicious Well-Done Steaks, offering unique in-game buffs. New hunter medals, equipment, and skills – including the formidable Hellfire Cloak – are also part of the update.
Note that some monsters are taking a temporary break. Radobaan, Banbaro, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, and others will be absent at Season 3's launch, but will return via urgent quests.
Limited-time packs, including the Recovery Bargain Pack and Hunt Support Pack, will be available in the in-game shop from September 2nd to October 6th.
