Hearthstone Unveils Emerald Dream Expansion, Introducing Meta-Shifting Keywords

Author : Ryan Apr 18,2025

The new Hearthstone expansion, "Into the Emerald Dream," has just dropped, bringing with it a whopping 145 new cards to shake up your gameplay and keep the excitement going strong. With this latest update, you'll dive into two new card modes with the Choose One Keyword, which lets you select from two different modes when you play these cards. This feature promises to add a fresh layer of strategy to your battles.

One of the standout features of this expansion is the Imbue Keyword. As a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, or Shaman, you'll tap into the power of the World Tree by playing an Imbue card for the first time. This will grant you a unique Hero Power, exclusive to your class. And the fun doesn't stop there—each subsequent Imbue card you play will upgrade this power, turning you into a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Dark Gifts, another new Keyword, is here to mix things up even further. These power-ups for your minions come with specific Discover options for the Warrior, Demon Hunter, Death Knight, Warlock, and Rogue. This means you can customize your minions to your heart's content, tailoring them to fit your unique strategy.

With all these exciting new additions, you'll need to update your decks pronto to stay competitive. Don't worry, though; catching up has never been this fun.

Ready to jump into the action? You can download Hearthstone for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases available if you want to enhance your experience even further.

Stay in the loop with the latest updates by following the official Hearthstone Twitter page, and for more in-depth info, head over to the official website. And don't forget to check out the embedded clip above to get a taste of the new vibes and visuals that await you in Into the Emerald Dream.
