"Freedom Wars Remastered: Mastering the Cell Garden"

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is a key area you'll explore early in the main story. It serves not only as a plot point but also as a safe haven for farming resources, contrasting the dangers of field operations. As you progress, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, each accessible through a similar process regardless of the level you're on. Let's dive into how to locate these Cell Gardens and understand their mechanics for optimal resource farming.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a quest from Mattias, who sends you to investigate rumors of a ghost girl. To reach the Cell Garden, head to Level 2: 2-A000's main cell block. From your cell, spot the small room in the left corner, resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you encountered Enzo.

Upon arrival at 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room containing a device that will take you to 2-G100. Continue this pattern one more time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device leading directly to the Cell Garden.

This sequence remains consistent across all levels, making it a straightforward task once you know the route. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent navigating to the Cell Garden. After completing the related main quest, you'll have access to the Cell Garden at any time and across different levels. However, consider acquiring a useful Entitlement first to enhance your experience.

Look for the blue door icon above each device, indicating your path to the next room or the Cell Garden.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

While the initial Cell Garden mission is tied to the main story, its function changes once you use it for resource farming. Here's how it operates outside of the main quest:

  • You have a strict one-minute window before being ejected from the Cell Garden.
  • The room's layout changes each time you enter, keeping the experience fresh and challenging.
  • Eight resources, marked by small green orbs, are scattered across the floor for you to collect.

To enhance your time in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, with the first upgrade available at CODE level 3, allowing you two minutes. This is particularly useful when navigating more complex layouts that might require additional time to solve puzzles and gather all available resources.
