Epic Games Store Mobile Gets a Major Upgrade: Free Games and More!

The Epic Games Store mobile app is undergoing a significant transformation. A wave of nearly 20 third-party games is launching, alongside the popular free games program. This expansion brings the free games program to Android globally and iOS within the European Union.

This month's free game is Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, available until February 20th, followed by Bloons TD6.

A key feature is cross-platform integration. Users can access their Epic accounts and game progress seamlessly across Android and iOS devices. An automatic update feature ensures game libraries remain current.

A Strategic Move

Epic's commitment to its mobile storefront is evident. While the PC version trails Steam, the free games initiative on mobile is a powerful incentive. Epic's pro-developer revenue-sharing model, a key point in its dispute with Apple, further strengthens its position.
