Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has officially launched its third season of year six, dubbed "Burden of Truth." This season plunges agents into a deeper narrative quest, tracking down Kelso across Washington, D.C., guided by her enigmatic clues. As agents progress, they'll uncover more about Lau's recruitment and the mysterious "Cassandra" mission, adding layers of intrigue to their journey.

A highlight of this season is the innovative Rogue Momentum system, designed to enhance combat dynamics by promoting aggressive tactics. Players can build momentum through defeating enemies and accomplishing combat objectives. While standard kills provide a small increase, the system rewards more for critical hits, skillful combos, multi-kills, and taking down elite foes, which significantly accelerate the momentum meter. As players accumulate momentum, they gain enhanced abilities including faster movement, quicker reloads, increased damage output, and faster firing rates. At its peak, the Overcharge feature activates, dramatically reducing ability cooldowns and intensifying the gameplay experience.

Alongside these dynamic combat changes, "Burden of Truth" introduces new weapons and gear to the arsenal. Players with the Warlords of New York DLC and Year 1 Pass are treated to an expanded inventory with an additional 50 slots. Standout items include the exotic SMG Oxpecker and the tactical Exodus gloves. New brands like Refactor and Shiny Monkey offer fresh gear options, while named weapons such as the Rusty Classic RPK-74 and Goalie FAL come with unique talents, enabling players to fine-tune their builds to their preferred playstyle. These additions are available across all platforms, and Ubisoft is keen to gather player feedback to enhance future updates.
